Introducing Lake City Way Studios, Canada’s largest film and television production facility. Spanning an impressive 1.3 million square feet, this landmark project stands as the largest privately funded development in British Columbia. Upon completion, the studio features 21 sound stages, extensive support spaces including mill shops, wardrobe, props, set decoration, and construction bays, along with 150,000 square feet of production office space. This initiative creates 5,000 full-time jobs and offers seamless access via Burnaby’s Lake City Way SkyTrain station, making it a convenient hub for the Lower Mainland’s creative industries.

Spread across 19 acres, Lake City Way Studios will accommodate over 5,000 onsite employees. The facility offers 1,200 parking stalls, in addition to a 1.6 km parking area designated for film trucks behind the studios. Studio sizes will range from 8,000 to 42,500 square feet, providing flexibility for diverse set designs. The U-shaped building features a central alleyway running through the complex, facilitating parking, building access, and essential services. As the largest film studio in Canada, this development will position itself as a premier hub for film and television production.
